While the reality of a situation like this isn't very funny, it does highlight the occasional encounter that one wouldn't normally expect to find in a library setting.
I just realized that the previous cartoon also ended with a person passed out on the floor. Hope I'm not falling into some kind of creative rut. Have a safe and fun New Year's Eve...see you next year!

Attempting to straighten out shelves in certain sections of the library and making sure they're in proper order can be an arduous task...especially in the early morning when the brain is still half asleep. I'll try to squeeze in one more cartoon before the new year arrives. Happy Holidays!

In this episode, I tried to see things from the viewpoint of a library clerk. Since I've never worked as one, I'm not sure if I pulled it off right, but my co-workers will let me know if I messed up. *Update* - Since posting this cartoon, it's been pointed out to me that library clerks are not supposed to comment on material checked out by patrons. Oops!
